Launching a new SaaS experience for healthcare staffing
Brigad is a platform that connects businesses in hospitality and healthcare with skilled, pre-vetted professionals on demand. To accelerate growth in healthcare and diversify revenue, Brigad set out to launch a new standalone SaaS offer.
As the Lead Product Designer on this project, I worked from 0 to 1: aligning teams, shaping the product vision, and designing the full MVP experience.

Challenge
Healthcare facilities often rely on fragmented, manual processes to manage staffing needs. Brigad needed to become a more integrated tool — one that agents could rely on from the very start of their staffing workflow.
We had to define a clear value proposition for the SaaS, Identify key differentiators vs competitors and build an MVP ready to test pricing, usage and willingness to pay
Results
Designed and delivered an MVP in less than 4 months.
SaaS pitched to 100+ healthcare facilities.
First users acquired 2 months after the SaaS launch
Identified critical gaps for SaaS monetization (e.g. contracts auto-generation).
Solution
To differentiate Brigad’s new SaaS and provide real value to healthcare staff managers, we designed a set of features aligned with their daily workflow and pain points:
Add your own network
Agents can add external professionals (freelancers, short-term contractors or internal staff) directly into Brigad.
→ This turned Brigad into a centralized staffing tool, instead of just a marketplace.
Multi-pool mission posting
Agents can send a mission request to multiple pools (their own network + Brigad's marketplace) in one click.
→ This increased flexibility and efficiency, and helped secure missions faster.
